Windsurfing Bracklesham Beach, West Sussex
Pretty tasty windsurfing weekend just gone (July 29th, 30th) and still blowing strong through the week. The Saturday was sunny with a good 20 knots WSW of wind going by ChiMET and a low tide time of 14.45 so everyone was out from West Wittering to Bracklesham Bay. Obviously with a load of kite surfers and a few wave surfers out too. Sunday seemed to ramp up a notch wind wise. Less sun and definitely a bit more gusty. I lasted about 5 mins. Time for the pros to get stuck in. Here’s some shots from the Sunday below.
Camera Kit used
I’m an intermediate windsurfer at the mo so on the Sunday session I didn’t last long at all so packed up my Ezzy 4.5 sail and RRD 135 Litre board and grabbed my Canon 6D MK2 DSLR with Canon 85mm prime lens. Kept the shortie wetsuit on and stood waist height in the waves and grabbed some shots of people flying by.
